Glad we rented

 

Only renting, thank goodness. Its very loud as there are floors above me it sounds creaky, to the point where it wakes me in the middle of the night. The amenity hours are not the most convenient, and parking is a mess. If you get home late.. good luck, you may have to walk the entire complex, seriously. It also irritates me that recycling is not a priority here. There is only one "play" grassy area for kids despite the false advertising that there are two within the property.The property looks nice though, the landscaping is outstanding. I am thinking about buying a condo myself, but after this I will never rent or live on a middle or lower level again. I love the area, the schools are fantastic!! Although I would not buy here, I am glad I rented instead. When it comes time to renew my lease, Ill be giving my notice.

FHA approval failed

 

After much deliberation and negotiation with the FHA representative, the developer has decided not to continue pursuing FHA approval at this time. This is an extremely unfortunate situation for all of us. FHA rejected our application using very narrow interpretations of the reserve study wording. They further were not willing to talk to us or our reserve specialists without placing us on the bottom of the processing pile. Currently the processing timeline is running a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks. If we were to get the approval it would be after the home buyer tax credit expires which doesn’t work for many buyers.

Unfortunately, buyers are now required by banks to put 10% down. We can still work in the closing costs.

I love this place,quiet,clean and a great deal. Brett and his staff were great to deal with. As soon as all the units are sold, guest parking will be divided up in each of the units.

How is the parking for guests? If in building AA will my guest have to park on the other side of the complex and hike 10 mins?

they have been very difficult to dealwith and things are taking months to get the proper paperwork fron the builders. Nice places but very frustrating to deal with

I just bought a condo here. I can't believe the value. It was nice becasue I was given a price sheet of everything on the market. The whole process was so easy. I totally trust the people in the sales office. Brett was extremely helpful and helped be get a great deal.

A few questions for current residents:

1) How is the sound-proofing between condos?
2) Did I hear someone mention there was money in reserve for repairs?
3) Have the HOD increased since you've been there?

My husband and I were very impressed for the value for cost. I don't expect everything to be absolutely perfect, but I was pleased with the looks.

Guess we'll see what happens!

I was there today. They changed management and everyone was really nice. I don't know what your tallking about. They really seemed to want to work out a deal for me. I totally trust them.

WOW!...again, very difficult to deal with. They kept the earnest money, after they lied about FHA financing. Too many hoops to jump through. Just tell the truth, and at least try to be nice...stay away!

Nice Condo's, but the people selling them are not very nice to deal with, plus the fact that one doesn't know what the other one is saying. We went elsewhere.

Nice! Well worth the money

 

I love this place... I looked all over Lynwood, Edmonds, Everett, & Mukilteo. I was sooo sick of seeing those condos stuck on busy roads with strip malls as neighbors. Front9 is sweet. They have a great fitness center I can access 24/7, an indoor pool, and now that it's hot I can hang at the pool outside. I've never used the bbq probably becasue I have nobody to roast marshmellows with :( but whatever. I can walk my dog on HPB to the coffee shops. Beets the shit out of walking my dog next to cars ripping by at 50 mph.

The Front9 is a great place. I've lived here for a few months now and found it to be nice and quiet. A good bargain for those of you looking to get away from noisy, congested areas.
